Discover millions, keep ten

With a monthly Zune Pass music subscription, you can download millions of tracks from Zune Marketplace* for the price of one CD a month ($14.99). Play them whenever you want on up to three computers and three players, for as long as you keep your subscription up to date. You also get to keep 10 of your favorite songs each month to add to your permanent collection. That’s $10 worth of songs you know you already love.

Sign up and get started

1. To get a Zune Pass, first download and install free Zune 3.0 software. If you're using an older version, be sure to update (see Settings, Software, General).

2. To buy your Zune Pass, go to Settings, Account, Zune Pass, and select a payment option.

3. Start exploring right away: to add a song or album to your collection, just click its Download button. If you've got a Zune player connected to your PC, you can click and drag music over to a player icon that automatically downloads and syncs to your Zune.

4. Now, you get to keep 10 songs to add to your permanent collection every month. Just right-click a song or album in Zune Marketplace and select Buy to apply your song credits. Even after you've used up your free credits, you can still buy more DRM-free MP3s with Microsoft Points.

Better together: Zune Pass and Zune players

Zune Pass works great on any PC — and even better with a Zune player. You can access Zune Marketplace from any trusted wireless hotspot and enjoy all the freedom of Zune Pass right from your player. Browse, stream, and download as much music as you like — even instantly download songs you hear on the Zune player’s built-in FM tuner.
